Each year, the NRCHA Hall of Fame Committee selects a new class of inductees for the NRCHA Hall of Fame, Hall of Merit, and the Vaquero Award.  The NRCHA Foundation hosts the annual Hall of Fame Banquet and annual fundraising auction.  The Class of 2019 included recipients for Hall of Fame, Jon Roeser and Ron Emmons; Hall of Fame Horse, Johnny Tivio; Hall of Merit, The Lyles on behalf of Discount Tires; and Vaquero Award, Pat Russel. 

During the 2019 Banquet, a special tribute was presented by Teddy Robinson, in honor of Sherri Hammond Gilkerson.         
The Sherri Gilkerson Memorial Foundation sponsored the Cave Creek Cutting Horse Association, Beginners Class.
